DO YOU SEE YOURSELF AS A LEADER?

Introduction: Leadership is a quality that goes beyond titles and positions. It is about having the ability to guide, inspire, and influence others towards a common goal. While some people may naturally embody leadership traits, others may question their own potential to be a leader. In this blog post, we will explore the concept of leadership and encourage you to reflect on whether you see yourself as a leader.

Understanding Leadership: Leadership is not limited to individuals in high-ranking positions or those with authoritative power. Rather, it is a mindset and a set of skills that can be developed by anyone. Leadership involves taking initiative, making tough decisions, and inspiring others to achieve their best potential. It is about being accountable, adaptable, and empathetic towards the needs of others.
Identifying Leadership Qualities: Leadership qualities can manifest in a variety of ways. Some common traits include:

a. Vision: Leaders have a clear vision of what they want to achieve and can effectively communicate it to others. b. Communication: Leaders are excellent communicators who can articulate their ideas, actively listen, and provide constructive feedback. c. Integrity: Leaders act with integrity, honesty, and authenticity, gaining the trust and respect of those they lead. d. Empathy: Leaders show empathy by understanding and considering the needs, feelings, and perspectives of others. e. Decision-making: Leaders are decisive and can make informed decisions even in challenging situations. f. Collaboration: Leaders encourage collaboration, foster teamwork, and empower others to contribute.

Reflecting on Your Leadership Potential: To determine whether you see yourself as a leader, consider the following questions:

a. Do you take initiative and seek opportunities to make a positive impact?

b. Are you comfortable with making decisions and taking responsibility for the outcome? c. Do you inspire and motivate others around you? d. Are you open to feedback and willing to continuously improve your skills? e. Can you effectively communicate your ideas and listen to others’ perspectives? f. Do you believe in empowering others and helping them reach their full potential?

Embracing Leadership Development: If you see leadership potential within yourself, it is important to nurture and develop these qualities. Here are some steps you can take:

a. Seek opportunities for growth: Volunteer for leadership roles, join clubs or organizations, or take on projects that allow you to practice and refine your leadership skills. b. Learn from others: Observe leaders you admire and study their approach, strategies, and communication styles. c. Invest in self-improvement: Take courses, read books, and attend workshops that focus on leadership development. d. Gain feedback: Seek feedback from peers, mentors, or supervisors to identify areas of improvement and build on your strengths. e. Embrace challenges: Step outside your comfort zone and take on challenging projects that require you to lead and inspire others.

Conclusion: Leadership is not confined to a select few; it is a quality that can be cultivated and developed by anyone willing to put in the effort. By understanding the qualities of a leader and reflecting on your own potential, you can embark on a path of personal growth and make a positive impact in both your personal and professional life. So, ask yourself, “Do you see yourself as a leader?” and take the necessary steps to realize your leadership potential.

The Weak Spot

Every living creature on earth has a weak Spot which means having an affected part in the body, emotions, and a rioms that can not posses action throughout that time. Weak Spot in our lives are meant to happen due to the motion of the world, it can make an individual Les human. This weak Spot in our lives is controlled by the way we act from conversations to approach, weak Spot can also be were an individual can be caught when an incident occur either physically or mentally.

There numerous types of weak spots in our lives

a. Laziness b. Easily bored c. Taking things personally d. Shy e. Short – sighted f. Selfishness g. Greediness h. Fearful i. Close minded j. Aggressiveness Etc…..

The way we act towards things should not be impulsive because our weak Spot is going to appear when they happen the only way words spoken or happenings. Having these weak Spot can hold us back and make us see ourselves in a way that is way too vulnerable and weak. Knowing your weakness is as important as knowing your strengths. These weakness which you often try to leave aside, can limit you from actually chasing after your dreams and achieving a lot of great things in your life. Nonethless, the good thing about weak Spot is that you are able to improve them.

SUCCESS ADVICE: Here are 4 ways in which improving your weak Spot can help:

1. It can make you stronger Weak Spot can hold us back and make us see ourselves in a way that is way too vulnerable and weak. Most of the time though, this is not who we truly are and we can change a lot of things in our lives if we just believe in ourselves. Finding your weak Spot and working towards improving them can truly help you get some much needed strength in many aspects of your life. You will be able to tackle problems a lot easier and you will know that no matter what comes your way you will be able to pull through successfully. Moreover, you will be able to go ahead and do things that would normally be out of your comfort zone, like apply for a job you always wanted or talk to a certain person you never had the courage to. Finding your weak Spot and turning them around can give you a new perspective in life and help set you free of things that would normally hold you back.

“Don’t weaken yourself by surrendering to your weakness. Strengthen yourself by conquering your weaknesses.” – Dr T.P.Chia

2. It can help you focus on improving yourself Understanding and accepting your weak spot can be the best way for you to stay working towards improving yourself. Most of the time, we are the only ones who hold ourselves back from further improving and chasing after our dreams. If you have decided this is the time for you to make a change, start by asking those around you what they believe is a weak spot of yours that affects the relationship between the two of you. This is the best way to start working on yourself and improving yourself so you make those who matter to you happier. Even though this might be a baby step compared to others, it can be just the boost that you need in order to start taking bigger and more important steps towards improving yourself and creating a new life for you.

3. It can help you fight mental illness, A person who solely focuses on their weak spot is often very weak and has no motivation to do anything important to change their lives. This is a case where these people don’t actually know about their weak spot but they usually believe that they have far more weak spot than they actually do. This causes their self-esteem to become very low, and they feel completely unmotivated to do anything. In order to turn this situation around, you will have to go ahead and list your weaknesses on a piece of paper. Have a person you really trust go through this list and tell you which ones are truly there and which are not. Having the help of someone who knows you well should help you start understanding that you are being too harsh on yourself and that you need to break out of this difficult circle. When you start working on those weak spot and actually start doing something about them, you will see that your mood will improve and you will be fighting against the mental health problem that has been bothering you and holding you back.

“Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time.” – Thomas A. Edison

4. It can help you become a better version of yourself One of the most important things to keep in mind is that nobody is perfect and nobody started out as successful and confident. It always takes time to become either of those things and in order to get there, a person will have to work hard on getting to know themselves better and focus on making all their weaknesses into strengths. While having weaknesses isn’t a bad thing, it can turn into a problem when the person spends too much time focusing on them and analyzing all the scenarios where their weaknesses can hold them back. It is important that you always accept and understand your weaknesses but also work on improving them in order to live the life that you dream of.

You can share your experience of your weak spot on the comment section trust the words you will surely see one that suits you.

Time Flies 2

Happy weekend Readers, here is the continuation on Time Flies.

6. Perfectionism

Perfection is not necessary, so don’t waste your life pushing for it for every little task. Talk to your manager about your quality of work, and they can tell you what standard is required. Employees are often surprised at what qualifies as a good quality of work — they then realize that spending hours upon end pushing for perfection is often not worth it.

Set realistic standards for yourself and others , and don’t agonize over small details that don’t really matter in the grand scheme of things. Learn to let go of control , and delegate tasks where appropriate. Accept that mistakes will happen — they are part of life!

7. Multitasking

The unending debate over multitasking and whether it is indeed worth it!

Contrary to popular belief, multitasking is actually less efficient than completing one task at a time. When we try to do too many things at once, our brain becomes overloaded and we make more mistakes.

To avoid this, focus on one task at a time and give it your full attention. Set aside specific times for each task and stick to them. If you need to multitask, break the tasks down into smaller, more manageable chunks.

You will find that as you stop multitasking and start focusing on one task at a time, the quality of your work will skyrocket — and the time taken to finish it will crash. Such are the benefits!a cluttered work desk

8. Lack of organization and planning

Knowing what you’re meant to be doing at any given time is priceless for your company, and definitely for your own development.

This is why planning is such a key component to avoid wasting time. It’s far too easy to start a day with a laissez-faire attitude, not knowing what tasks you should prioritize. This can often lead to aimless wandering and eventually, many wasted hours.

The lesson is to make a plan, schedule your time efficiently, and ensure you stay organized with how you structure your day. If you’re struggling with planning the traditional way, then consider using apps like Slack, Asana or Notion to help you stay on track.

9. Not knowing when to say ‘no’

It’s far too easy to try and impress your colleagues and your manager by taking up every little task that comes your way.Whilst it’s great to be a team player, you also need to know when to draw the line. Trying to do too much will only lead to you becoming overwhelmed and stressed, and ultimately not being able to complete any of the tasks to a high standard. Not only will this waste your time, but your company will be impacted as the work simply isn’t being done within time limits or to a high standard. So if you’re struggling to keep on top of your workload, have a chat with your manager and explain the situation. They may be able to redistribute some of your tasks or give you some additional support. Say ‘no’ when you have to! As long as you explain your reasoning, your manager/company will be more than understanding of your situation.

10. Using outdated technology and equipment

Using old equipment that hasn’t been updated or serviced regularly can be a time waster at work.

Outdated technology can lead to longer search times for documents, as well as decreased productivity when trying to complete tasks. In some cases, it can even be a safety hazard.

To avoid this time waster, make sure that you regularly update your equipment and technology. This may mean investing in new software or hardware, or simply ensuring that your current equipment is regularly serviced.

Conclusion

All these steps are what we face everyday and it is important to limit the tasks we perform because some are just time flyers and it is not very important to perform/do.

Solve your Problems

Happy Good Friday 🎊🎉👏

Today was the day Jesus sacrifice himself for our sins and that is why I brought this topic here, we are always in one situation to another but it’s depends on the type of problems in front of you. Some problems come from similar sources which is pertaining to our lives. Let’s learn to solve them wisely because appling wisdom to problems make you strong and capable to do more than what you never think of doing, a wise talk is a solvent to situations around us.

The Steps to Solving Daily Life Problems

STEP 1: IS THERE A PROBLEM? As a first step, it is important to realize that there is a problem. Because problems can cause anxiety, many people will try to avoid, ignore or procrastinate when dealing with difficult issues in their lives. Unfortunately, avoiding your problems usually causes them to come back, and a small problem can become a big problem over time. So, how can you recognize a problem early on?

  1. Make a list. Get in the habit of writing out a list of the problems in your life. It is easier to work on a problem if you have written it down. This approach will also help you to see how certain problems seem to come up again and again.
  2. Use your feelings. We often make the mistake of thinking our negative emotions are the problem. This is false. For example, you might think, “the problem is that I am always stressed at work.” Where as it is more accurate to say there is a problem at work (such as difficulties with coworkers or a huge workload), which is making you feel stressed. Use your negative emotions to guide you: when you are feeling anxious, stressed, frustrated, or annoyed in a particular situation, try to find the problem that is making you feel that way.
  3. Find the challenge. A huge obstacle for most people is the negative way that they look at problems: if you think that problems are completely threatening, or that having them is a sign of weakness or failure, and you see yourself as a bad problem solver, you won’t solve the problem! That is, even if you are good at solving problems, you won’t try to deal with them if you don’t think you can and you don’t see any benefit to it.

If you can find some benefit or opportunity in a problem, you are more likely to work on it. For example, if your problem is not getting along with coworkers, the opportunity might be that it is a chance to improve your communication skills and possibly resolve some arguments with your coworkers.

STEP 2: WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?Before trying to solve a problem, you first need to define it. Here are some tips on how to properly define what your problem is:

  • Focus on the problem itself. Ask yourself the following questions:
  • What is the situation? (e.g. my boss gives me too much work)
  • What would I like the situation to be? (e.g. I would like my boss to give me less work)

What is the obstacle that is keeping me from my desired situation? (e.g. I’m unsure how to talk to my boss about my work obligations)

You can then put your problem into a sentence. For example, the problem is that my boss gives me too much work; I would like to have less work, but I’m not sure how to ask him to reduce my workload.

  • Just the facts: Be careful to avoid putting opinions or assumptions into your definition. For example, thinking that your work problem is that “my boss is a jerk” is an opinion. Besides, it makes the problem almost impossible to solve.
  • Be specific and concrete: If you are too vague when defining your problem, it will be difficult to know how to even begin solving it. For example, thinking that, “my problem is my work” is not specific or concrete; what is it about your work that is a problem? How will you even start fixing this kind of problem?

STEP 3: WHAT ARE MY GOALS FOR THIS PROBLEM? In order to know whether you have solved your problems, it is important to know ahead of time what a solved problem would look like. Here are some tips for setting goals:

  • Be realistic: Make sure that your goals are achievable; if they are unrealistic, you will probably not reach them and you will feel badly. For example, with the work problem, if your goal is to only do your work when you feel like it, you will likely not solve your problem.
  • Be specific: If your goals are vague, you won’t know when you have reached them. For example, if you think, “my goal is to be happy at work”, what does that mean? Do you want to be happy all the time? How happy? When will you know when you have reached your “happy” goal?
  • Start with short-term goals: If you set goals that can be reached relatively quickly, you are more likely to work on your problem. You can set long-term goals too, but make sure to have short-terms goals as well so you know whether the problem is solved. With the work problem, a long-term goal might be to get another job while a short-term goal might be to reduce your workload.

STEP 4: THINKING UP SOLUTIONS The biggest mistake that we tend to make when finding solutions for our problems is to think about the same old solutions. However, if those old solutions worked, the problem would not still be around. In order to come up with new solutions, you can follow the rules of brainstorming:

  • Devise lots of solutions: You are more likely to come up with a good solution if you have a lot of solutions to choose from. Try to come up with at least 10 possible solutions to your problem.
  • Don’t judge your solutions: Remember that you aren’t choosing a solution yet, you are just trying to think of as many options as you can; so don’t judge them. Even silly, strange or extreme solutions are good ones at this stage. For the work problem, you might think about solutions like “quit my job” or “organize a strike”. Write them down! You will never come up with new solutions if you aren’t willing to even think about silly ones.
  • Have a variety of solutions: Make sure that your solutions are different from each other. For example, with the work problem, there is not much variety if your solutions are to “ask the boss to have lunch with me”, “ask the boss to have coffee with me”, or “ask the boss to come out to dinner”. Although these are 3 solutions, they are basically all the same solution: ask the boss to do something social with you.

Some other tips for thinking up lots of different solutions are:

  • Be specific: Make sure that your solutions involve specific behaviours, and not general strategies. For example, the solution, “give the boss a list of all the work I am doing now” is very specific, compared to the solution, “be more assertive with my boss”. If you picked the latter solution, you would have a new problem — figuring out how to be more assertive.
  • Ask for help: If you are having a hard time coming up with new and different solutions to your problem, ask friends, family or coworkers for advice. Other people might have ideas that you have not even thought of.

STEP 5: CARRYING OUT THE SOLUTION This is often the most difficult step because you now have to actually start carrying out the solution you chose. Most people are afraid that they might have picked the wrong solution, or that perhaps there is a better solution if they just think about the problem more. This is not helpful thinking:

it is better to act than to do nothing at all.

To help you carry out your solution, you can make an action plan. If you know how you are going to carry out your solution, you are more likely to follow through.

Your plan should include all the steps that you will need to take to carry out the solution, and it should be as specific and concrete as possible. For example, if my solution is to “get a new job”, some of the steps involved in that solution might be:

Make a list of the types of jobs I would like to have:

Buy a newspaper every day and check the “help wanted” ads

Contact all the employers who advertise a job that I would like to have

Rearrange my work schedule so I can go to interviews, if necessary.

How Fast Can You Succeed

Do not rush to success just stay dedicated and steadfast with what you are doing because there are no fast ways to succeed in life. The only way to success is “DETERMINATION” this can boost you forward in your destination just make sure you do the right thing to make yourself active and responsible in all means.

Five ways to be successful

Be Passionate. And do what you for love. If you don’t love it, then why do it? If we build careers or continue in jobs that really aren’t our passion, we’re selling ourselves short. It’s like the guy that is a tech consultant that really wanted to be the lead singer of a band. I’ve written about love and careers before and I think that the takeaway here is that if you really do what YOU want to do, you will be more creative, more motivated, more tuned-in, and much more likely to be very financially and personally prosperous. Katherine Hepburn said it best,

“If you have to support yourself, you had bloody well better find some way that is going to be interesting.”

-katherine Hepburn

Work Hard. Don’t ever fool yourself—success comes from really hard work. And you might find that although you’re doing all of the heavy lifting, there is satisfaction in a job well done. But remember that you need to rely on others, so make sure that you surround yourself with colleagues that share your same work ethic.

“I do not know anyone who has got to the top without hard work. That is the recipe. It will not always get you to the top, but should get you pretty near.”

–Margaret Thatcher

Be Good. And by that, I mean damn good. Successful people strive for greatness, not mediocrity. So push yourself (and your team) to ensure that you’ve reached your ultimate potential. And be sure to celebrate your wins, that not only breeds confidence among your team, it will keep your colleagues engaged and also will keep your clients or customers enfranchised. If you haven’t read the book from Good to Great, grab a copy. James C. Collins said,

“Greatness is not a function of circumstance. Greatness, it turns out, is largely a matter of conscious choice, and discipline.”

– James C. Collins

Focus. Focus always proceeds success—which is not possible without a clear emphasis on what matters most. And leaders constantly need to remind themselves of this vital truth. Focus requires the pursuit of a mission and vision.

“Good business leaders create a vision, articulate the vision, passionately own the vision, and relentlessly drive it to completion”.

– Jack Welch.

Push the Limits. Richard Branson said,

“Far too many people don’t excel in life because they are too afraid of taking the necessary steps to achieve their dreams. Some manifest fear as a safeguard from failure; others don’t even try, believing that they are restricted by limits; while too many get caught up in the status quo.”

– Richard Branson

Don’t constrain yourself to thinking inside of the box and don’t allow fear to get in your way. Today, people expect more than ordinary so you need to be extraordinary to get noticed and build strong relationships with your target market. Whether you sell a product or service, you must deliver the utmost experience.

Serve. Customer service excellence has always been and will always be one of the critical competitive advantages for any business. Meeting your customer’s needs will help you build a very strong and memorable brand. Be responsive, listen, and observe—then you will create value. Learn from mistakes in service.

“Your most unhappy customers are your greatest source of learning.”

-Bill Gate

Create Ideas. In addition to service: ingenuity, authenticity, and forward thinking will ultimately drive your brand. Aspiration is part of the creative process. As Steve Jobs said,

“I want to put a ding in the universe.”

– Steve Jobs

You must always continue to innovate, especially in a competitive market space. Push the envelope when it comes to ideation.

Be Persistent. Business development and entrepreneurship should be built out of love—and any great love requires passion and persistence to capture your dream. Although you will experience setbacks and failures, you will also find success and triumph.

“You may encounter many defeats, but you must not be defeated. In fact, it may be necessary to encounter the defeats, so you can know who you are, what you can rise from, how you can still come out of it.”

– Maya Angelou.

These qoutes has a lot to do in your life especially when you are hustling in hardship. There is no limit to success you just have to keep the hustle pure and satisfying.

As long as you have what’s good to make a better life for yourself and praying along with it, it will work well for you.

There is no shortcut to success what you do now is the price you get in the future.

This is a reality blog and you have to relate it to your life experience.

Responsibilities

There are so many responsibilities that individuals have, it is a normal act for any person to do. Without responsibilities you can not make a good living.

The males responsibility are to become the breadwinner of the home which is the necessary thing to do as a male they is fully grown and ready to marry, he has some choices to make and he is also the one to cater for the needs of the family though we also have rare cases of females becoming a breadwinner which is not suppose to be in Africa but the right one is for the male to be the man of the home. Likewise females also, they have some responsibilities to hold which is to watch out for the kids, take care of the home and prepare food for the family. The females get married by the males but some females do office work too which they might not be able to take good care of the home.

Benefit of Responsibilities

Being responsible can change your lifestyle in any aspect of your life.

Look at the ways to benefit from being responsible:

  1. You become more confident

“Character – the willingness to accept responsibility for one’s own life – is the source from which self- respect springs”.

– Jean Didion

As well as being the cause of an issue or circumstance, being responsible also means that you have the power to make things better. Simply put, if your mistake had enough influence to produce the wrong outcome; doing the right thing will have enough influence to produce the right outcome.

When you see things from this perspective, you begin to see how powerful and influential you can be. You begin to realise that you can achieve whatever you want as long as you choose, and implement, the correct actions.

When you fail to take the actions that you need to take a achieve your goals, it is usually for one of the following reasons:

  • You don’t believe you can do it
  • You are waiting until you believe you can do a perfect job
  • It feels daunting and overwhelming

When being responsible for your life is a core principle that you live by; you are never afraid to get started. You accept that you might not get it right the first time, but you know that you can learn from whatever outcome you achieve. Then, you can implement whatever changes you need to make and achieve a better outcome. Being responsible means that you are always learning and always improving, So,you can never fail because you don’t give up till you get where you want to go.

Imagine having a mindset whereby you believed that you could achieve anything that you set your mind to. Being responsible for your own life allows you to achieve this because when you see each experience as a learning experience, you are always confident that you can improve.

2. You solve more problems

“ To say you have no choice is to relieve yourself of responsibility.”

– Patrick Ness

When you are not being responsible, you find it more difficult to solve any problems that arise. The reason for this is pretty simple; there are a number of potential causes of any problem and by avoiding being responsible, you are refusing to consider one of the most likely causes of the problems you experience  you or your actions or failure to take action.

There may be several reasons why you refuse to consider the idea that you are responsible for your own outcomes, including:

  • You don’t want to look bad in front of others
  • You fear the potential consequences e.g, being disciplined at work
  • You’re arrogant

Those are just  3 of the most common reasons but each of them makes you look worse. Most people can accept when others make mistakes because we know that we make them too. When you refuse to look at your own mistakes, it irritates others because even if you are not arrogant, you come across that way, being honest about your mistakes is actually a great way to build relationships.

When you are willing to consider your own mistakes, by being responsible, you are more likely to find some or all of the problems. Remember that there is one common denominator in all your problems – you

That doesn’t mean you should beat yourself up. You should feel empowered because you now know what you need to change and so; a better outcome is in your hands. Life is full of problems and challenges. When you are willing to consider everything that might be contributing to your problems, you are more likely to solve these problems quickly.

3. You experience better relationships

“most people do not really want freedom, because freedom involves responsibility , and most people are frightened of responsibility.”

– Sigmund Freud

Have you ever noticed how people give someone an easy time when that person admits that they made a mistake? We are all human and as such, we all make mistakes, nobody is infallible and deep down we know that. Therefore, when somebody is in them. We know that we make mistakes too so we are more likely to react with empathy and compassion.

Empathy and compassion serve to improve the quality of relationships by helping people bond and relate to each other.

Alternatively, think about how you feel when somebody refuses to accept responsibility even though you know that it is them who made the mistake. They seem less trustworthy, if they blame someone else for their mistakes, you are likely to think that they would blame you just as early, it is hard to empathies or be compassionate with someone like this and with the breakdown of trust, the relationship suffers.

4. You become a role model

Optimism is a strategy for making a better future. Because unless you believe that the future can be better, you are unlikely to step up and take responsibility for making it so.”

– Neom Chomsky

You owe it to your family to act responsibly. By doing this you are teaching your children good habits and you are helping them to accept responsibility for their actions. You are displaying the strong values which you would like them to develop.

It is the same with friends and colleagues. Rather than telling others how they should behave, you are demonstrating it by being a suitable role model. Rather than preach your values, you are living them.

I bet you can think of someone who never behaves in the manner they expect others to behave. Their hypocrisy is really irritating isn’t it? It is as if they think that they are better than you and: they don’t have to play by the same rules. You don’t want to cooperate with them and neither does anyone else.

If you want others to behave in a particular manner, the best way to do it is to demonstrate the behavior that you wish to see, when you constantly hold yourself to the highest standards, most people will want to emulate you. There will be one or two exceptions, but you will have a lot less conflict than you would if you tried telling others what to do.

Being responsible for your own thoughts, words and behaviour is one way in which you hold yourself to the highest standard. When people see you hold yourself accountable. They will have less resistance when you hold them accountable for their actions too.

5. Improved decision making

“Take responsibility for your own happiness, never put it in other people’s hands.”

– Roy T. Benneth

Making decisions and choices is also connected to responsibility. It is quite easy to put off making a particular decision because you are worried or fearful of the consequences. There may be other people who will be affected by this decision and by putting it off, you are not helping them.

Instead you need to be responsible to yourself and to others by taking the bull by the horns and making a tough decision. You may not be able to please everyone but you need to make the right choice for you.

By actually taking action and doing something you are being responsible. Once you have made this decision you need to be strong enough to follow it through. On the way, you may meet with obstacles and roadblocks. You  need to hold strong with your conviction and stay with your original decision.

Conclusion

Life doesn’t have to be something that happens to us but something we shape and control. With the influx of events that are entirely out of our control, there are many circumstances with which we do have a say in. When experiencing hardships, one may be inclined to feel discouraged and helpless. However, it’s important to remember that you can take control of your life by taking responsibility. Although we can not control everything in life that happens to us and the ones we care for, we can maintain how we respond.

A lack of responsibility for your life may show up in the following ways: pessimistic thinking, a victimized mentality, frequent arguments, indecision, stagnancy, and codependency. When we become responsible for our lives, we notice more things going in our favor. If you want to create a better quality of life, filled with peace and joy, then you should be mindful of how you approach the way you live your life.

Chase the best for myself

What advice would you give to your teenage self?

As a teenager I have a lot of things that I want to accomplish but I am putting in my best to bring the perfect picture for myself.

At my young age before now I always have different thoughts in my mind about what I would become and how to live my life but now that I am at my teens’ age I have come to realize the truth about myself, knowing what I want to become, knowing the things I want to achieve and building my career to the best way for me. Kids have dreams but it turns the other way round when they later realize how life can be without having a mindful thought of their lives.

My advice for my self is to put more effort and make the clock tick to the final spot.

The Need for Excessive Time

Everything we do requires time to work. Yet, we are often limited by time when trying to accomplish more. Time becomes a restraint when it isn’t enough to achieve what we want. We all have just 24 hours in a day, and realistically, we can’t fit every task into those hours — because rest is also essential after every effort we make.

I still wonder how we manage this limited time we have each day to get things done. How do you do it?

The answer is quite simple — it lies within us. Most of the things we do are driven by our personal interests and goals. Personally, time has been a limiting factor in my brand work.

Lately, I haven’t been able to give enough attention to my podcasts, designs, and blog writing. The reason is that I’m currently undergoing my Teaching Practice here in Nigeria.

For context, the Teaching Practice exercise is a training program for university students studying education-related courses. It helps us gain practical experience in teaching pupils or students in primary and secondary schools, allowing us to develop the necessary skills to impart knowledge effectively.

This period of my teaching practice has taken almost half of my day — time I would normally dedicate to other things that matter to me.
